"Bisbee"

Bisbee was once known as "the Queen of the Copper Camps". This area proved to be one of the richest mineral sites in the world. Almost three million ounces of gold and more than eight billion pounds of copper were found in the Mule Mountains.

A fire destroyed most of Bisbee's commercial district along Main Street in 1908. However, most of the district was rebuilt by 1910.

Bisbee's Queen Mine was once one of the richest copper mines in history. The mine opened in 1877.
